Lavender Essential Oil
And Its Healing Power

Lavender essential oil was first discovered by Rene Gattefosse, a French scientist, on the ability to heal and promote tissue regeneration. Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is from the single oil family and steam distilled from flowering tops.

This most versatile of oils also acts as an "Adaptogen".  The term Adaptogen means to have a "normalizing effect" to adapt or adjust and Lavender essential oil seems to be able to do just that.

It starts its healing power according to the needs of whoever uses it. Lavender oil have these Key Constituents:

  • Linalyl Acetate (24-45%)

  • Linalol (25-38%)

  • Cis-beta-Ocimene (4-10%)

  • Trans-beta Ocimemne (1.5-6%)

  • Terpinen-4-ol (2-6%)

It is the most versatile of oils and has been documented to improve concentration and mental acuity.

Why We Use Essential Oils

We all aim for the optimal blood pressure reading of 120/80 mmHg and below. But as we age we develop pre-hypertension and Stage 1 hypertension, so we need to start monitoring our readings, make lifestyle changes, and start using alternative HBP treatments to lower our blood pressure.

Applying essential oils over your heart points will quickly lower your high blood pressure and should be used as a complementary treatment with your high blood pressure medication.

Further down this page I'll tell you where to find your heart points and how to apply these oils.

The Powerful Effect Of Fragrance

Lavender is known for its relaxing effects with its scent calming, relaxing and balancing you both physically and emotionally which naturally leads to you lowering your high blood pressure.

Diagnosed with Stage 1 hypertension and are not yet taking medication, complement it with using Lavender essential oil.

After you apply oil, use your blood pressure monitor to get your reading, record your measurements and reapply if necessary.

Use these points to maintain your heart health, especially if you have high blood pressure.

  • Apply and massage Lavender essential oil to your Vita Flex point that is related to your heart which is on the sole of your left foot, just below your ring toe, - the fourth toe - and about an inch below the base of your toe.

  • Another great Vita Flex point related to your heart is in your left hand, an inch below your ring finger joint.

  • And a secondary heart point is on the inside of your upper left arm around two inches up from your funny bone, the elbow, not on the your muscle but right up under your muscle.

Use your thumbs and firmly press all three points alternately for three minutes, in a kind of pumping action, starting with your foot first, then going on to your hand and arm.

Massaging this point is very effective in lowering your high blood pressure and toning your heart.

As an added benefit to lowering your blood pressure you can also diffuse all of the above oils.
