Does the words healing and curing means the same things? There are some subtle differences in meaning, which I'll explain on to be healed or to be cured.
To be healed or the healing of an ailment, or an issue comes from within self. Its when the body, mind, heart and soul work together so that we may completely let go of things or become whole again. When we heal we depend totally on our own inner resources.
Curing or to be cured is when you, me, are completely free from an illness or injury. When we are cured its usually through the expertise of the Doctor or medical team in their ability to control the course of a disease or injury, or an act of our Heavenly Father.
Healing versus curing is like a coin with those sides. An individual might be healed, but not cured. Or another individual might be cured, but certainly not healed.
There are individual who have been cured per se, but have not been healed within the mind, heart and soul, so in essence they are not healed. Then again others might be healed and also cured.
Now from what I now know to be possible and when I consider the thought of healing and curing of high blood pressure sufferers .. I now understand why doctors say you'll never be cured from it.
Any one seeking healing and curing of high blood pressure should know that with a nutritional diet, exercises, supportive friends and a family well grounded in spiritual beliefs, they'll live longer with a quality of life that is better than normal. All this is part of the healing life cycle. I think of myself as being healed of high blood pressure.
Its important to have some meaningful and inspiring vision to work toward. Then and only then you'll have the necessary desire to overcome your potential challenges and obstacles.
You may know of someone who has an ailment that is incurable and dying, but have made or have gained such a spiritual peace with their God ... that you see and know for sure. That is in effect healing, even though their body might not been cured of their disease.
They have somehow freed themselves emotionally and have found spiritual peace, and so have healed within their heart, mind and soul, though not cured.

I am an admirer of Dr. Dyer and have read a lot of his books and practice his “Japa or Staying in the Gap” meditation.
In his book “The Power Of Intention” he says "Research suggests that intention on its own heals, but that healing is a collective memory of a healing spirit, which can be gathered as a medicinal force."
From the chapter on “Optimize my capacity to heal and be healed” he has a couple of steps I want to mention here and I quote:
"By raising your energy to a vibrational match with the field of intention, you’re strengthening your immune system and increasing the production of well-being enzymes in the brain.
Don’t ask to be healed, ask to be restored to that perfection from which you emanated. Here’s where you want to hold an intention for yourself and for others in an unbending, non-negotiable way. Let nothing interfere with the intention you have to heal and be healed. ….. Come to the Source as whole and complete, banish all thoughts of illness, and know that by connecting back to this Source – filling yourself with it and offering it to others – you become healing itself.
Seek out and cherish the silence. Many people who have suffered with long-term illnesses have been able to return to their Source through the channel of nature and contemplative silence. Spend time in quiet mediation visualizing yourself coupled with the perfectly healthy field of intention."
Do you know Researchers, while investigating mind-body health, believe that if we transform the experience of an illness, we may also affect the course of the disease?
So lets practice self healing by listening to our bodies, adopting an optimistic view, believing in our power to self heal and in letting go of what no longer works for us or no longer serves us.
You have the power to heal yourself.
